What to expect as a student using this curriculum:
Week 1, you'll be signing sentences and be able to hold short conversations with Deaf people and signers. By Week 2, your ASL vocabulary will be expanding, and by Week 8, you'll be able to recite the Pledge of Allegiance in sign and have more complex ASL conversations with Deaf and hearing signers in the Deaf community!
As a "drip course", new lessons, mini-lectures, fingerspelling practice and dialogues are dropped weekly. Every week builds on the previous lessons, establishing a strong linguistic foundation as you move through the course.
